Recently, the production workshop of Furun Trailer Factory has been in a busy scene. Dozens of brand-new semi-trailer tractors have successively completed the final quality inspection and commissioning, and are about to be sent to customers in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other regions via ports. This is the 6th batch of overseas orders delivered by the factory this year, accelerating the pace of domestic trailers "setting sail for global markets".
As a key enterprise in China's trailer manufacturing industry, the factory has focused on overseas market demands in recent years and continuously promoted technological upgrading and product iteration. The trailers exported this time not only adopt high-strength steel to reduce the body weight by 15%, effectively improving fuel economy, but also are equipped with intelligent safety systems such as tire pressure monitoring and anti-roll warning, which are perfectly adapted to the road conditions and regulatory standards of different countries. "In the past, overseas customers preferred European and American brands. Now our products are no less inferior in load-bearing capacity and durability, and are more advantageous in price. The order schedule has been scheduled for the second half of the year," said the person in charge of the factory's foreign trade department.
In addition to the hard power of products, customized services have become the "golden key" for domestic trailers to open the overseas market. In response to the rainy weather in Southeast Asia, the enterprise has installed waterproof electrical components for local customers; in the face of the high-temperature environment in the Middle East, it has specially optimized the heat dissipation system. The full-chain localized adaptation from design, production to after-sales operation and maintenance has enabled domestic trailers to win more and more recognition from overseas customers.
Data shows that in 2024, the export volume of China's trailers increased by more than 20% year-on-year, covering more than 80 countries and regions around the world. Industry insiders said that with the deepening of logistics cooperation under the "Belt and Road" Initiative and the continuous breakthroughs of domestic trailers in intelligence and greenization, Chinese trailers are transforming from "product export" to "technology + service export", accelerating forward in the "blue ocean" of the global commercial vehicle market.
